Kat liked this design also and found my concept and symbolism interesting. My main concept for my design is to create a alter ego for my chosen waiting in lady Elizabeth Brydges, allowing her to take revenge on all the negativity and loss of identity and life, that she had received in her late existence. Because my concept is quite dark and morbid, I decided on the colour of black as my focus colour. Kat suggested that although the inclusion of black is fitting and the dramatic mouth is interesting, I should find a way to edit or develop my face design so that I do not create a look that sways away from the Elizabethan theme. I agreed with Kat and explained that this is something I had been worrying about as I still wanted my look to communicate an Elizabethan theme within my final images.
Kat suggested that I could possibly add or change the design of the eye make-up I created, maybe by taking away the black shadow and replacing it with a different colour or even a subtle symbol or shape that doesn't clash or take away from the mouth design, but ties the look together. After thinking about this feedback I have been considering replacing the black shadow on the eyelids and instead adding a subtle meaningful colour suited for my character on the lower lash line, applied in a clean smooth line. My next step in response to my feedback will be to create another face design, the practise this design and finally take pictures show Kat again and ask or her feedback on my development of idea.
